Morning Program 8:00AM-11:30AM

Virginia wildlife rehabilitation specialist Darin Handy works with both injured and orphaned wildlife and exotic animals. Darin is known for captivating youngsters and adults alike with a host of creatures great and small, furry and scaly. Explore nature around the community center while looking for animal tracks and signs, meet some special creatures and learn about their habits.

afternoon program 1:00pm-4:30pm

Shawn Kurtzman, CMI staff entomologist, will lead a kid’s program about insects and other critters that surround us.  Kid's will take a short walk and explore the variety of insects they find. Limit 15 participants, parents welcome and encouraged to participate.
