Mushroom Walk!

Join mushroom maven Ken Crouse on a hunt for mushrooms at River Ridge Farms. Last year we found around 56 species at this site! 

Learn the ins and outs of mushrooms by identifying multiple family types and species - poisonous and edible included! We will meet at the parking lot beside the low water bridge over the New River at the intersection of Cox Chapel Rd and Bridle Creek Road at 10am. We will carpool to a nearby location for our walk.please bring along some lunch and we can have food as we ID and discuss our collections.We should wrap up around 1-1:30.
