Women's Fly Fishing Weekend

  • Blue Ridge Discovery Center 6402 Whitetop Road Troutdale United States (map)

If you’ve ever been interested in learning to fly fish or are looking to connect with other fisherwomen, this is your opportunity. Our highly experienced guides provide a small guide-to-participant ratio for a focused and personalized learning experience.

On Saturday, avid fly angler and BRDC’s Executive Director, Lisa Benish, will teach you everything from proper gear and casting techniques to which flies to use and how to read the water. By Sunday you’ll be ready to hit the water!

This full weekend experience is just $150 for members ($160 non-members), which includes lessons and dinner Saturday, one night’s stay in a cabin, breakfast, a guided fishing trip on Sunday, and all gear. Start time: 10:00 am Saturday, November 8th. End time: 2:00 pm Sunday, November 10th. Proper fishing licenses are required. As this is a BYOB event, only ages 21+ are permitted.
