Join BRDC Guides for snorkeling fun on Whitetop-Laurel Creek! Our creeks host an amazing diversity of colorful fish including sculpins, darters, dace, trout, suckers and more. Learn about the underwater habitat and fish ecology. We will provide wetsuits, snorkels, masks, and changing tents. Bring a swimsuit and towels. Snorkeling is in 1 to 3 feet of water with no swimming necessary.  

Ages: Ages 6 and up.

Date: Sunday, July 25th 27th, 2:00-3:30 pm and 3:30-5:00 pm

Location:  Meet at Straight Branch Parking lot, Mt. Rogers NRA (4 miles from Damascus on Rt. 58)

Cost:  $15.

Registration: vahighlandsfestival.org  by July 23.

Limit: Limited to 12 participants each time slot.
