If you can wield a paint brush or roller, then this is the weekend for you! Join BRDC staff and buckets full of historic paint colors and bring the Schoolhouse to life!
Painting a 17,000+ sq ft building is a daunting task and we would love your help painting the third floor residential rooms of the Schoolhouse. Join us and be a part of the interior finishes for this magnificent gem in our community.
We will provide:
Paint
Materials and supplies
Snacks to keep you going!
What to bring:
Warm clothes you don’t mind getting paint on
Paint brushes and/or rollers if you wish (BRDC will have)
Water bottle and lunch
Ages: Adult
Date: Saturday, 10:00 am-4:00 pm and Sunday 10:00 am -4:00 pm (or until complete)
Location: Blue Ridge Discovery Center, Third floor of the schoolhouse!
